I Hate Valentine's Day

"After falling in love onscreen in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Nia Vardalos and John Corbett reteam for a romantic comedy about a florist (Vardalos) who persuades a restaurateur (Corbett) to take a gamble on a no-strings-attached relationship. Vardalos, who also penned the screenplay, makes her directorial debut with this Valentine's Day-themed love story that crams the action into a single day: February 14." courtesy of netflix

for starters, this movie is not a sequel of any kind to 'my big fat greek wedding' but Nia & John are so great together (heck they are great actors when they aren't together.) I loved this movie! it was fun (a little predictble but not in an annoying way, just in a typical way.) I will tell you the "hate" of valentines day in this movie really doesnt hold up. the first half of the movie is all love and good stuff and there isnt too much bad stuff or "hate" going on in the movie, although it does happen. its definitley worth watching, Its Nia Vardalos' first directed movie, she also did the screenplay for this as well -- shes got a knack for that (she wrote the screenplay for greek wedding.)
