Everybody's Fine

"Frank (Robert De Niro) just lost his wife, and without their mother by his side, Frank's grown children aren't compelled to visit for the holidays. So he hits the road to visit them -- collecting various revelations and learning about himself along the way. This movie was so sad! I don't think i've ever cried so much in a movie that isnt supposed to be sad, if that makes sense. the way the children treat and respond to the dad, is really sad. but its not the obvious kind of sad - i guess thats what im getting at. its a really good movie though, the acting is of course great, you cant go wrong with DeNiro, Drew Barrymore, Kate Beckinsale and Sam Rockwell - they are all great actors and the movie has so many surprises along the way it was refreshing to watch a movie that wasnt so predictable.
